AM Global Family Investment Office was created out of a desire to be objective and independent and do things differently.

Founder Andrew Mehalko and Co-Founder Steve Barimo have been friends since age three, growing up two houses apart in Hialeah, Florida. Growing up with modest means, they learned early the value of hard work and the importance of honesty. They feel strongly that a person’s words should match their deeds. When they became professional colleagues in 2001, after working separately in the financial services industry, they set out to build a wealth advisory firm that was aligned with its clients. Ultimately, Andrew and Steve became leaders in the family office industry, even before there was a ‘family office industry’. With AM Global, Andrew and Steve have set out to build an investment advisory firm that offered the objectivity, service and transparency of a family office but focused first on investing. A firm with an investment culture undiluted by competing disciplines.

Prior to founding AM Global, Andrew Mehalko and Steve Barimo served at GenSpring Family Offices. During their tenure, the firm became one of the world’s foremost multi-family offices, ranked #1 Registered Investment Adviser*, growing from $400 million in assets to over $20 billion assets under advisement, serving more than 700 of the world’s wealthiest families.

We think that you will enjoy working with AM Global professionals: Nice. Experienced. Down-to-Earth. Brutally honest. Family-oriented. 100% client focused.
